Document Processing System
Jyske Finans employs approximately 180 people and is one of Denmark's largest and most experienced companies in car financing and equipment financing for the business community.
In short, they help companies, big and small, realize new ideas so that they can reach their goals.
The task
Jyske Finans needed an optimized approach to handling their case documents, a new way to manage and automate their document processing in a fast, secure, and easy-to-use way.
The task was to optimize daily work via a compelling interface packed with intuitive navigation, keyboard shortcuts, and - as always - the absence of disturbing elements.

Cases galore and the tools to match
Endless lists of cases packed full of information of utmost importance to the employees at Jyske Finans. The natural extension to your traditional list view is a set of tools - we chose to focus on:
•  Massive search bar equipped with autocomplete and channels
•  Filter bar with both standard and personal filters
•  Sortable columns

•  Multi-select for mass operations
Extensive and speedy filtering
Well-functioning filters are your best friend when navigating large lists. These filters can be operated with either a mouse or a keyboard. Advanced users tend to choose the keyboard as they appreciate its speed of use.
Optimised for colour blindness
Approximately 1 in every 12 men (and 1 in every 200 women) are colour blind. Therefore, relying on colour alone for readability and affordance would make your interface challenging for colour-blind people.
A simple solution is to differentiate not only by colour but also by shape.
Shortcuts
The employees should be able to complete their tasks as fast as possible. We gained a lot by implementing keyboard shortcuts throughout the desktop app.
